Hi, I'm Bianca. I am a User Experience designer based in Dallas, TX with a background in engineering and medical sales.
I graduated with a dual bachelor's degree in Biology and Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Industrial Design from Xavier University of Louisiana and Georgia Tech, respectively.
Design has been a constant in my life, from my early days of creating webpages for my beloved Neopets, to designing layouts for my high school newspaper, to prototyping prosthetic liners for amputees during my college years. Throughout the years, I have become keenly interested in how my designs impact the people they were made for.
During my time in the early-stage startup world working in medical sales, I honed my skills in observing user behavior and strategizing solutions for business problems. Working in customer care as well, I developed a deep understanding of the importance of clearly advocating for the end-user. My work helped stroke survivors and their loved ones, and I took great pride in knowing that my designs were making a positive impact on the people I personally spoke to.
As we move deeper into a world that is growing to be inextricably linked with technology, I am excited to see how design can shape the future. My ultimate goal is to create data-driven, user-friendly, and intuitive designs that are accessible to everyone.
Outside of work, you can find me tracking my runs on Nike Run Club or scrolling through Depop to find my next thrifted outfit. I also love taking
photos on film my camera, mostly of friends and places I've visited. Lately, I've been trying to journal more.
